The Challenges

Our customer realized that their HR processes were not automated and involved high-volume manual work, which were repetitive involving mundane tasks  across employee onboarding like – profile creation, background checks , onboarding formalities, probation confirmation ,employee notifications etc.

Manual HR processes were proving to be costly , time consuming  and had a high error rate due to data being manually copied and pasted – and even required extra time to review and correct errors if any .

They were keen to digitally transform their HR department with end to end automation of their entire employee lifecycle processes like  employee onboarding, employee engagement and offboarding. The key challenge was to achieve automation with seamless integration with other systems like Sitecore, Tableau, HRIQ and Yardi.

The Solution

TeBS conceptualized and built a HR Digital Workspace with automation features which facilitated the HR team to manage the entire employee onboarding and offboarding activities. The Digital workspace was built on Microsoft SharePoint which served as a front-end user interface and UiPath Bot automation as backend.

The entire end-to-end automation of the HR processes was achieved by enhancing the existing Cloud-based MS SharePoint platform with PowerApps, UiPath and integration with other external systems. The UiPath Bot was able to perform the automation task of fetching each request from the SharePoint MCart and perform activities in 14 different external systems. The Bot subsequently could update the status in the shopping cart for the user to denote the status of requests at any point of time.
