The Lunar New Year is a very special occasion around the world. The holiday is celebrated in the lunar-solar Chinese calendar and was originally observed as a time to honor household and heavenly deities and ancestors. The New Year typically begins with the first new moon that occurs between the end of January and spans the first 15 days of the first month of the lunar calendar—until the full moon arrives.
At TeBS, we welcomed the Year of the Rabbit 2023 by celebrating with our colleagues at our Singapore office. It was a fun day celebration with festive cheer, sumptuous food, and not to miss the exciting – Lion dance. The lion dance is one of the most important traditions of the Chinese New Year. to bring good fortune and chase away evil spirits. We truly hope that the Chinese new year inspires all of us to make a great start and may we all be blessed with prosperity and good fortune in the year of Rabbit. Gong Xi fa Cai !!
